My Writing Implements Collection, formed and dispersed in the 1980s, which was the source material for my book, "WESTERN WRITING IMPLEMENTS in the Age of the Quill Pen" In fairness to the publisher of the reprint edition (2012), any items which appear in the book will be shown on this website WITHOUT CAPTIONS to encourage the book's sales. Having been out of print for many years and selling second-hand for several times its publication price, the new edition is welcome and very good value at £25.
