A group of bone-handled Victorian cutlery from the servants' halls of the Earl of Lonsdale's estate's various houses, with "B.T." for Barleythorpe, the Hunting Lodge in Rutland, "S.R" for the Serving Room at Lowther Castle, "C.H.T." for Carleton House Terrace, the London residence, "L" under an Earl's coronet for Lonsdale for use at Lowther Castle, and the same with an "N" below for use at the racing lodge at Newmarket, or possibly the family motor yacht, the "Northumberland".
